Interesting. I found this one surprisingly moving. Maybe because I had zero expectations going in.
Nice review. I felt the same. It was fine. I felt fine about it. But that was all.
I was very moved! I had the audible on regular speed, just tad faster, so I do think that helped not lose any of the emotions.
Good review! I have read a lot of books about communist China lately and they have been so depressing I can barely get through it! But this was a great balance of hope and up lighting bonds of women in such an oppressed culture.
Great review! I felt the same. My five stars were based on the storytelling quality that lead knowledgable readers to easily fill in the blanks rather than have every single detail described to them.
