How does my fellow co-author friend claim their profile? > Likes and Comments

Sorry, I hope this is the right folder to post this. My latest book is up on my profile, but my co-author friend is unable to claim their profile. They've tried several times but keep getting rejected. Do two authors being on a book hinder this? Is there something maybe they're not doing?
