Bashing a book like this especially from an indie author is wildly disgusting. Not everyone’s going to enjoy a book but going this far is awful.
This review is unhelpful and mean. Can you give any detail at all or do you just feel that bashing books you don't like with no reason given is doing any good for anyone?
This is unacceptable behavior. You have the right not to like a book, but at least write some constructive criticism with heart. Not hate. This goes against everything our community stands for. If you can't do that, you probably shouldn't be an ARC reader. Start DNFing books if you can't use your words politely.
The mean girl energy in this thread is wild work. If you don’t like a book, fine. Learn to leave CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Otherwise, just DNF if you aren’t liking what you’re reading. I mean I’m glad to see you have a such a supportive mean girl possie though. Maybe y’all should write your own books. Hope you have the day you deserve girlie 🥰

@Bea27x Because it’s the WORST???? Nothing made sense in this book. That so-called plot twist, girl… hands down the STUPIDEST twist I’ve ever read in my life — and trust me, I’ve read plentyyyy of bad ones. If you can’t write a decent thriller, don’t waste my time with your nonsense. Honestly, I owe myself an apology for not DNF’ing it sooner and slapping that one star right away;-)

Well this an absolutely disgusting review and comment chain. There's constructive criticism and there's blatant bullying. After seeing this, I wouldn't trust any of your reviews. I don't know how long ago high school was for you, but I'm guessing you've graduated — so maybe start acting like it.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but this review of a book that you were provided an ARC for, could be a lot nicer. Either that or DNF the book.
