Hi, I'm the author of Paper Bag Mask. The cover for Paper Bag Mask that is currently on Goodreads (yellow text on a brown paper bag background) was only temporary. The new cover has been submitted to the distributor (Simon & Schuster) and now appears on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.--as you can see in the provided screenshot) I've been waiting for the cover to change over on Goodreads, but it's not happening. I have the image for the cover. How can I get changed to the proper cover here? I was able to change the cover once before, but I don't seem to be able to do that anymore. Thank you.

The book already has many ratings with that cover, has anything including ARC been issued?

The history of the book is a bit complicated. It originally came out in 2018 under an indie publisher that folded shortly thereafter. A number of reviews came from that time. Last year, a new publisher took it on with a revised text. That revised text was sent out to early reviewers with the intent of publishing in July. Review poured in, but then the tariffs hit. And now the book is delayed, probably until Q1 2026.

A temp cover was put in place that is different from the 2018 cover until the publisher had readied the new, official cover. The new cover now exists and all listings have been changed to that. Except on Goodreads. So, just trying to get the art to line up, as the temp cover has been taken down everywhere else.

Unfortuantely, I cannot. That's why I've posted in this group. Goodreads is telling me I can't change the cover and that I have to contact this group to get it changed. Is there someone here who has that power?

Thank you! I finally was able to upload it. I also went in and set this cover as the primary edition. However, the temp cover is still the only one that's showing. Does it take some time to switch over?
