Christian Meteor My name is Christian. I'm 27 a year old journalist and author with 3 self published books, all of which are novel length horror stories. I never planned to be a horror writer when I got my first freelance gig back in 2016, but alas, the world is spooky and mysterious.

Third book is why I'm posting here today. It's based around the backrooms and the horror of the infinite in-between.. The phenomenon of this place started during the COVID pandemic with all the abandoned places and eventually turned into an entire universe.

Well, I fell in love with that universe, so much so that I wrote an entire book about it, with all sorts of super atmospheric levels. An abandoned day care, a dead mall, endless suburbia, pool rooms, vacant offices, just to name a few. Those kind are the kinds of places the book is set in

The whole Backrooms concept really pioneered a new genre of what I might call "liminal horror;" books that put the characters in uncanny spaces. There are certainly books that touch on the liminality, but I think the concept as a full theme is relatively new on the writing scene. I blend these themes with a sinister, mystery plot; the main character thinks he has been sent to the back rooms intentionally.

So, I'd like to offer my mystery-horror-liminal-novel out to any reviewers that are okay with risking nightmares about being lost in infinite dark basements, maintenance tunnels, abandoned offices, and endless urban desolation. I couldn't stop having these dreams while I was writing this book, and I would love some feedback.
