Nicolette might be one of my favorite Jade Dollston FMCs ever. I love her strength and wit. She’s unashamedly smart and sassy. Even better, Helix finds that sexy as Hale.
Jade Dollston is a master storyteller. There are always plots, subplots, future plots, and all kinds of genius sprinkled throughout. It’s what she does. That’s why she’s the best. This book is no exception. From a compelling main story to intriguing and hysterical side stories. You’ve got a gun-toting goose and a drag show. Intrigued? You should be. I’m digging the nerdy MCs in the one. We’re used to these super alphas. Helix is still alpha, in bed, but he’s smart and complicated with wounds, both physical and emotional. She’s an actual genius with a heart of gold. I love how they’re as attracted to each other’s brains as they are to their bodies.
It was a great start to what is promising to be an incredible series. We have so many Easter eggs regarding what’s to come. I can’t wait to find out!
