I have some books that I wrote prior to my cancer diagnosis more than ten years ago. They are best described as vampire/police procedural stories. They are pretty firmly set in the 2010s. The Great Recession and the 2012 election are in the background. They are long, in the 400 to 600 page length. I've been considering doing a little reediting and releasing them as shorter e-books. Maybe in the 200 page range? I have manuscripts that continue the series and breaking up "The Food" and "Blood Spirit" into shorter books might make it easier for folks to read and get into the story. Thoughts?
Great idea, I think. I'd love to read them but have so little time, what with the whole writing thing, so getting smaller chunks is very helpful to me. The premise of your earlier books always intrigued me, so I'd love a chance to get into them easier.
