Shim Author pages go by the book covers.

You can either claim the Alex D. Ketchum page using a separate account or you can contact Goodreads Support and ask them to move your claimed page over.

But we can't merge these pages.

Also it's less confusing if you start new posts rather than replying to someone else's.
