Hi Karina! I don't normally reply to these, but wanted to let you know I appreciate your review. First, your idea for a "mini- resume" is an awesome idea! I would have loved that input earlier and will add a page! I wasn't too worried about the "extra players" because they aren't a big part of the story and readers don't necessarily need to remember them, but this is a good idea that I will include at my signings, so thank you!
Also, I know this was so different from BTBD and any of my other books. My frame of mind while writing wasn't able to do heart tugs. However, I want you to know after I typed The End on Albatross, that NEED to write what I write best filled me and I am 70k into a brand new book that will be sure to wring your heart and give you those smalltown vibes. I hope you're still up for it when it comes out. Again, thank you so much for your constructive criticism. I totally get it and appreciate you!

Hi Sarah.

Thank you for responding. First, I want to say that, just because this story wasn't 100% my cup of tea, I still think that you did a great job. I'm sure at another point of my reading journey, this book may align more with my tastes, but for now, I enjoyed it for what it was. I think this would be something I consume better as a TV show rather than a book. I am usually a person who says I prefer the book more than the cinema adaptation, but here it is an example I think I personally would have connected more with by seeing it on screen.
With that said, I will definitely have my eyes open for future works.
