i feel the same way about this as i did paul tremblay's book which is to say i didn't enjoy either one unfortunately
What's the novel that seemed a lot like this one? I'd like to read that.
I thought that the OFH episode about the Pinearch creature convinced the people who killed Hannah to try to do the ritual, making Jorie complicit due to it being her idea to make the episode. I don’t think it’s explained outright but there was enough context for me to assume that was what happened
