Thank you for your review which provides a clear view of what the goal of this book is. My intent was to experience these countries as the people living in the countries did. I wanted to show that even in these often difficult circumstances, the joy of life remained and these folks did not give up on life. While l did share these difficult times that people have, l was also able to share the unknown beauty in these countries. For the tourist seeking the unknown Immersed in West Africa provides many opportunities.
