Larry’s review of Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning > Likes and Comments

Hachettebookgroup.com has a link to free downloadable notes. There are 70 pages of notes that substantiate the info in the book, so I don’t know what you are talking about unless you just couldn’t see them? But they are out there and I downloaded them just now. I do appreciate your review as it prompted me to look for them and I agree they are important.
Thank you, Nancy. I will look again. All I could get to come up was the offer to sell the book, whether using the link in the book or the search feature on the site. Maybe a pop up blocker or something? That potentially would change my rating substantially. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention.
I did find the notes, and they certainly add credibility to Cheney’s investigation, which is very good. However, I did not find them particularly useful in adding detail or for conveniently finding specific information. Not as disappointing, but not fully satisfying.
TKU for telling us where the notes are. Larry, I understand your reasoning for posting this review. Agree with your theory. I am 2/3 of the way through but have learned a lot.
Also, does ever book on history come with an index or footnotes? This wasn’t a text book or thesis so I’m perplexed why this would be the defining thing you want to review.
