Chantel A very thoughtful review, Srivalli!

Thibault Busschots Sounds a little bit stereotypical, though it also seems like a very solid read. And we all need to go through the figuring it out phase in our lives. Good review, Srivalli.

Rosh ~catching up slowly~ Wow, you really liked it way more. I couldn't ignore the stereotypes. They were so annoying!

Rosh ~catching up slowly~ Yikes, this app!
Continuing from above...
The crush stuff also annoyed me.
Glad it worked better for you. Nice review, Sri. ❤️

Hahha... I was expecting the stereotypes, so I was prepared for those. Thank you, Rosh. 💝 Sorry that you didn't enjoy it much. I can see why!

A Mac I like how this one sounds, though I agree - let kids be kids and not force crushes and tingling at such a young age. The illustrations and how the nightmares were clearly marked seems well done. Excellent review, Srivalli!

Nisha Joshi (swamped, will review whenever possible) Sounds like such a fun book even with the stereotypes. Thanks for the great review, Sri! (It's been many days since your review popped up on my feed, so I'm happy!!)

Yeah, it was fun, though do check out Rosh's review too! She didn't like it (at all)!
Oh, darn! GR hates me! At least, it showed up on your feed now. Thank you, Nisha. 💕

Federico DN Man, Eugenia Wang can't catch a break lol. The one time you want to have a party and a little bit of fun and your whole world crashes down. Even with a HEA bet she would think thrice before even daring to attempt another birthday again xD. Glad you enjoyed the story and the artistic vibe so much, even despite the kissy kissy parts lol. Fantastic review Srivalli!

Laura Roettiger I’m just starting this and I know I’m going to love it but I needed to wait until I had the book in my hands. My eyes couldn’t focus on a screen while I waited for new glasses and your review makes me even more excited! Yay!

Kaz Windness Such a fun and spooky graphic novel. I love that the author, a first-generation Chinese-American, is working out their own internalized racism through Eugenia, and by the end you see how they have integrated their heritage with their identity and goals of creative self-expression. I personally loved the section where the grandmother was being channeled. I question other reviews that don't seem to have read the book to the end. The author really did their homework and the artwork is next-level, too. Def. worth the read.
