Tim Trott Escape from Cuba: A Novel of Survival, Revolution, and One Man’s Journey to Freedom
Historical Fiction relative to today's political climate.
"Escape from Cuba" is a gripping tale of defiance and survival in the shadows of tyranny. Through the eyes of Alberto Mendieta—a bold, street-smart young man who dares to challenge the oppressive Cuban regime—readers are thrust into a harrowing world where betrayal, brutality, and resilience collide. With hauntingly vivid detail, Michel Mir Jorge unveils a system designed to crush dissent, and the unbreakable spirit of those who refuse to bow. Part political exposé, part personal reckoning, Escape from Cuba is a visceral journey through fear, hope, and the human cost of freedom. Edited by Tim Trott, Tim Trott Publishing.
I discovered this author on the Tandem language app. After seeing how good the writing is, I decided to take on translating, editing and publishing. This book parallels the current American political climate. History does not repeat, but it does echo. Perhaps we should take warning.

Hunter H. Treasures of the Lochs
This is suspenseful YA Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is a powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers). This book is a 2024 NIEA Finalist in Religion Fiction. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you’ll check it out.

Robert Thanks for the great Goodreads feedback on my new Bond of Brothers story. Written over the winter, the storyline on this Techno-Thriller builds into an eerily similar outcome that we found ourselves facing with Iran.

Angela Stranger Hi All,

I'm excited to invite you to read my new novel, The Grünewald Affair.

Set in Regency England, the story begins when Lady Emma Riddley overhears whispers of an impending art heist targeting rare masterpieces by Matthias Grünewald. She finds herself entangled with the magnetic — Lord Henry Kingston, the owner of these paintings in question. Together, they follow a trail of secrets, deception, and stolen glances in a race to unravel the plot before it's too late.

This story blends mystery, romance and a touch of adventure. Perfect for readers who enjoy high-stakes intrigue, sharp-witted banter, and a romance that smolders all the way to the final chapter.

I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

Available on Amazon Kindle and Paperback.

I would really love your support in posting positive reviews online as well.

Roberto Abbagnale Hello everyone,

I’m thrilled to share my debut novel, The Hotel Odyssey, London Nights Edition, now available on Kindle, KU and paperback.

Through the eyes of a young Italian who leaves home at 16 to chase success, we glimpse a city alive with ambition, temptation, love, and loss. It’s a story for anyone who’s ever worked behind the scenes, dreamed big, or found beauty in the madness of service life.

A blend of fiction and lived experiences from years in luxury hospitality (author is an hotel executive with 30 years experience in 11 countries)

Deeply human characters, filled with heart, humor, and contradictions

Alex Kecskes Greetings, fellow authors and avid readers. I immigrated to America when I was five with my nurse mother and artist father. Went through Ellis Island. Took part in the American dream. Started writing in ad agencies, switched to articles, then turned to my real passion, novels.

My first novel, Healer, is a time travel historical romance about two doctors—separated by 500 years—who fall in love. The novel is dedicated to my dear late wife. My inspiration. I enjoy historical romance novels with a time-travel element—like Outlander. I love the late 19th century and shows like The Gilded Age, Downton Abbey, and Poldark. I've created several videos that offer hints about what Healer is about—you can find them on my profile page. Healer does end in a cliffhanger, which is why I wrote a sequel—coming out soon.

Leena Rentz Hi Everyone,

Check out this new book -Threads of Light by Leena Rentz.

At the heart of the story is Alexandria-Maria, a woman who appears to have it all: success, structure, and control. But beneath that calm surface lies a tangle of invisible grief, stalled dreams, and one secret that threatens to unravel it all. When her carefully built world begins to shift, she must decide whether to keep holding the threads—or learn how to let light in.

Threads of Light invites discussion about what it means to rebuild after loss and to rediscover faith—in oneself, and in the people who reach out when life goes dim.

It’s available in Kindle, paperback, and on Kindle Unlimited. We'd be grateful if book lovers who enjoy emotional, character-driven fiction would give it a read and share their reflections.

Ken Cheney What if every breath you took came with a price?

That question fueled my novel Ark Debt. It's a dystopian sci-fi story set in the frozen remains of Earth, where the last survivors live in an underground Ark monitored by an all-seeing AI. Every breath, heartbeat, and calorie is tracked, and every life carries a growing debt.

Ark Debt explores what happens when survival becomes a transaction, when freedom isn’t free, and the cost of safety is your humanity.

I'm seeking authentic reviews. The book is currently free in several marketplaces, including https://www.amazon.com/Ark-Debt-Fully...

Hello!

I'm a Montréal-based author who's been writing a nameless trilogy since I was fifteen. I've traveled to 112 countries so far, and I'm slowly bringing my books to life (they're all fully written!). My first published book is called Horizon — I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. There's a sample on DeviantArt if you'd like to give it a read:

I love chatting with other authors and reading self-published works (as long as they come from you and not AI!). Human creativity is a blessing — and I love experiencing it.

Don't hesitate to reach out.
