If youre looking for slow burn, yearning, emotional, tension between fmc andd mc, diversity, plot, character development, Male leads falls first and hard, fmc has agency and a mission, human vs elf, dark fantasy romance with more emotional than smut. Characters go through heavy development before they are happy!
If you're looking for a kind of similar vibe to the SoC duology, the Shades of Magic series by V.E Schwab has similar gritty themes and scenes, with a lot of fun cat and mouse vibes in the romance. It's been a while since I've read it, so I can't remember how slowburn-y it is compared to SoC.Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber is quite honestly my favorite series of all time, but I am biased because it somehow ticks every single fairytale box I've ever had haha!
Any book in the shadowhunter universe by Cassandra Clare (Tho I would suggest starting with “The Mortal Instruments” or “The Infernal Devices”)

(Also, if you want to add me as a friend, don't hesitate. I love seeing what people are reading so I can add it to my TBR list :)) )
