Tyler Davis You should not have given it a low rating without reading it and looking into who he was. Pretty irresponsible.

Angela not really. if a book is bad enough you're not going to finish it, just like how you might eat half your dish at a restaurant and decide you won't finish it because you don't have to finish the whole thing to decide it's bad. also, a book is a book. I shouldn't have to look up who he is in an AUTOBIOGRAPHY lmaoooo.

Sue Van Kirk I found myself marveling how a person with aphasia and paralysis on his dominant side wrote such a detailed book. I picked this up because I live with a stroke survivor and am interested in others’ stories.

I wouldn’t expect his prose to be succinct. Perhaps he wrote it mostly for him, as therapy, without the reader in mind.

Living with disability is challenging. I read his account voraciously and identified with a number of his observations.

Cissy What a stupid metaphor. A dish is a consistent entity. A book can take time to develop. People should not review books they didn’t even finish to boost their presence or whatever the reason. Do the work before you criticize.
