This is the authors style. If youndid not like the style of the first book, whybwould you read the second book and then to rate itbasca onevstar is just plain mean.I.hope other people chirp 8n because people like you ruin authors careers wanting them to write in a style you want. It is ridiculous what you have donevand mean spirited.
Hi Bella!
I totally understand where you’re coming from. I decided to give the second book a try because I was curious to see how the story continued — and there were definitely parts I enjoyed, especially the dark humor and suspense. Unfortunately, some of the same issues I noticed in the first book reappeared, making it hard for me to stay invested.
I’m sorry if my review came across as mean-spirited; that was never my intention. I was simply sharing my honest impressions — both the positives and the negatives — which is what reviews are for. While I can appreciate that every author has their own distinctive style, for me, the repetitiveness and continuity gaps made this particular story difficult to connect with.
Hopefully, the author (and other readers) can see it as constructive feedback rather than criticism for its own sake. We all respond to books differently, and I think every reader’s perspective can offer something useful.
Wishing you a great day and happy reading!
