Janet Turpin Myers Thank you, Paul, for this wonderfully positive review. I so appreciate that you took the time to give my dear book such a beautiful boost. Sometimes I worry that Nightswimming has been forgotten by my fellow Canadians. It does my poor writer's heart good to discover that people are still reading it (and of course, loving it). BTW: I just released another book. I see in your profile that you like historical novels; perhaps then, you'll appreciate my latest effort since it's set in early 19C England and Niagara. It's called Love Watching Madness. The title is a line from a poem by Byron. LWM is being sold on Amazon. Thanks again for being such an articulate champion of Can Lit, and especially of literary fiction. We writers need voices like yours to keep us going. Janet Turpin Myers

Paul Weiss Howdy neighbour! Sorry I took so long to reply. Goodreads is notoriously unreliable for notification of comments on reviews.

I'll try to put my hands on a copy of LOVE WATCHING MADNESS ASAP.

Janet Turpin Myers That's wonderful! I do hope you like it. And yes, I am indeed your neighbour, since I live on the escarpment in Burlington. I consider Dundas close-by ( I go there often). You have a very good writer living there: Bernadette Rule. If you haven't encountered her yet, you can find her by googling. She writes creative non-fiction based on historical events, and is an exceptional poet.
