Goodreads does not delete out-of-print books.If a potential employer wouldn't hire you based on having written books as a teenager then they probably aren't worth working for. As a hiring manager I would be impressed at your initiative.
However, I do know what you mean and I have changed the book descriptions to say "This book is no longer available" per Goodreads policy on out-of-print books. If you like you can adjust your bio to say something about your past as an author rather than your present, unless you are planning to publish again soon. You can un-claim your profile with Support if you wish.
My name is M. C. Winkkle, I have published two books and they are both on Goodreads (Beyond and So Long As I'm With You) per my own personal request. I would like to ask you to delete them from your database so they won't appear anymore. I published them when I was 16 and 17, I was terribly young and now I'm trying to get a job and I'm worried potential employers will be able to see these books and reconsider hiring me. None of the books are available for purchase anymore, so I wanted to ask if it was possible to delete them.
