i would highly recommend the shining or pet sematary by Stephen King!

It can be scary at first if it starts happening to you, depending on who you are, though it grows beautiful

I read them both. They were amazing and catchy from the very first page. Starting outsider now...

The Eyes are the Best Part was really good. Spooky, gory, great story and characters.

I think slewfoot needs to be in everyones fall tbr at some point. if you like possession stories i will always recommend All These Subtle Deceits by CS Humble.
