My thoughts exactly, a jumbled mess, the point was definitely lost on me.
I did enjoy the Salt Grows Heavy though.
I almost wish this book was written into sections for better cohesion. Too short of a book to be jumping around this much, but I definitely would have DNF'd it if it were longer.
She all but hits you over the head with why the faculty eats the student body. It's on the cover, for goodness sake.
Yeah, and you would think that the book would develop the concept beyond what’s on the cover, right? An explanation needs to be well rounded and have an actual background. It can’t be “just because” or a simple statement with no context. With that reasoning I can just read the cover of all the books and I would get the entire story.
