New member here...I welcome interest and discussion about my new novel. It's a Booklife by Publishers' Weekly "Editor's Pick,"and a Kirkus star review. The premise, generally: Karl Marx, to escape debtor's prison in England and fund the Revolution, joins the California Gold Rush. Marx hogs the title of the book, but the main character is his seventeen-year old sidekick, who's on the run from a crazy shipwrecked sailor. Marx and his sidekick go off on a Quixote-Panza-like adventure in the Sierra.
