I think the world is indifferent to coercive models of stating Christian "truth".
Not saying this book operates this way, but i think the phrase that the world is indifferent is an overstatement. Maybe just my current mindset but even the rhetoric of "world" sounds pejorative to me, a loaded term that seems to emphasize some sort of exceptional christianity. The old binary language of world / faith, Christian / pagan, etc are inadequate for stating the beauty and depth of Jesus and the sublime reality of the trinity.
