This is the most accurate comment I've come across. Im on page 138, and it's soooo slow. Im not a quitter, so I'll finish it. But it's a laboring process.
Thank you! I don't understand all of these glowing reviews. This book was incredibly boring and did not deliver on the premise at all. I was literally tracking the pages where something finally started to happen, and it wasn't until page 232 that I felt like "ah, yes, this is the book I thought I was going to be reading." This book should not have been marketed as a suspense. It's basically just women's fiction about two women having tough lives and trying to overcome their struggles.
