Sounds like it wasn't that great?
Overall I liked it, and would recommend it to anybody interested in what it's like to be a mail carrier. (As a fan of the USPS in general and someone who's benefited from great carriers...including our current regular one...that's me!) What kept it from a higher rating was that I got tired of him ending most chapters with "after school special"-esque life lessons. Those started to seem forced, and cliched. But I'm still happy I read it!
Oh, that makes total sense. I usually like stories about what it's like to do jobs I know very little about.
