Amanda MacDonald I am confused with you accusation of being 'unethical' for 'not crediting the AI'. I found the credit on the Title Page of the book. As long as AI is used as a Tool, I'm not prejudice against it.

Also, I noticed that there are lines in the book that are written phonetically to indicate the accent of the person. This brought the charaters to life for me.

But, I am concerned that you are willing to make accusations of being unethical, yet You fail to mention the credit on the Title page.

A.R. Thackrah Hello, I can understand why the punctuation is important and my publisher has passed the information on to their team for the next book. I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for your honest review. I treasure the opinions of all readers that give my story a real chance.

First, I also want to assure ALL of my wonderful readers, including you Scarlett, that I ALWAYS credit the tools that I use. This includes the use of AI for generating the images that I see in my mind. Also, they are introduced in a way that I feel the character's personality would appreciate. For example some images; like Amelia, Charlotte Thacher and Aunty Mags, I specifically designed to be Victorian style painted portraits. These are women who would only commission such a hand held portrait for the ones they loved. John Wilkes is a man proud to stand for justice, therefore he would likely want to be remembered for his Constable portrait snapshot. Rocksand is obsessed with perfection, a headshot airbrushed was the best way to communicate this to the readers. These characters are so real to me that I honor them by using tools, like AI, to introduce them to the world they way that they would see fit. It usually takes me hours, sometimes days, to edit the images until I feel they correctly portray the character.

I am looking forward to your opinion of Book 2 and I sincerely hope this clears up any possible confusion about my ethics in using tools like AI.
