Wonderful review, Terry--I especially enjoyed your thoughts on art! I think I may be with you on ranking The Chosen/The Promise a little above the Asher Lev books, but agree all are great.

Great review Terry. It sort of reminded me of the choice Sophie had to make in Sophie's Choice. Religion and family and staying true to your art is a hard thing to choose between.
