I'm seeking new and consistent friends who engage regularly. We can chat about anything positive—books, authors, hobbies, food, etc.

I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I read and write the same genres—YA, NA, paranormal, horror, thrillers, mystery, crime, contemporary, poetry, etc.—especially stories that feature relatable and amazing Black characters.

I'm a multi-genre author who recently published a poetry collection and plans to publish short stories and novels in 2026.

Nice to virtually meet you. I agree with you on the black authors and characters--that's icing on the cake. Sure, we can connect. I'm trying to regularly visit Goodreads even though I've been so busy.

I hope more members join. I would love to have more book besties. I'd love to interact regularly, have Zoom friendship sessions or virtual meetups, texting, calling on the phone, etc. If anyone lives in Arkansas, that's even better, then we can have in-person meetups.

I am receptive!!! I live in California, though. I read graphic memoirs, graphic novels, autobiographies, memoirs, biographies, realistic fiction, oral history, photography, etc.
