Thank you so much for this lovely review! I chuckled at your comment about this being too “meta” - I had some complicated thoughts and feelings myself while working on this. But the beauty and power of positive and inclusive representation in the context of such a beautifully crafted story needed to be explored and its impact shared. Especially now, when we hear and see so much hateful rhetoric.
