I'm not sure what you're describing but you've piqued my interest!
Glad to hear it. It's a well written and intriguing book, rich in world building and emotional insights. It has an unusual structure (narratively speaking, it's a normal chapter book) that requires you to slow down and appreciate the details. You go jump through different character's perspectives, but never any of the robots'. All of the characters' paths cross in the past, present, and future in different ways, but the story resists the urge to have them converge in a neat and tidy way. It's difficult to describe and best to experience!
