I got a message from Amazon that they had chosen a special deal just for me!!! Thank you (and others) for saving me $1.99 on a book that had such a promising blurb. I put it on my TBR list earlier this summer, so as an added bonus, I also get to a remove a title from a totally unreasonable amount. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket??
I’m only a quarter of the way through the book and I’m wondering if I should continue or add this to my DNF list. I too have enjoyed Finder’s previous novels, but this seems to have been written in a different ‘voice’. It sounds more like a first time novelist. This happened. He said. And then that happened and she said. I don’t care for any of the characters. I can’t understand how this book got so many 4 and 5 star reviews. Perhaps I’ll hang in just a little longer, but…
