Hello everyone!I’m currently studying UX design, and I’m working on a project to improve the book search, recommendation, and review experience on Goodreads 😊
This survey aims to understand **how people read and how they use Goodreads, and to see how accurately book recommendations work and how user-friendly the experience feels.
Based on real reader feedback, our team hopes to improve:
📌 **Detailed filters for finding books more accurately**
📌 **Personalized book recommendations**
📌 **Review credibility and trust indicators**

🕓 Takes about 4–6 minutes
🔸Who can participate: Anyone who reads books / Goodreads users (even if you rarely use it)
🔸 No personal data required: Email is optional and only if you’re interested in a follow-up interview.
💬 **Your opinion matters!
Your insights will help us design a more accurate and user-friendly book discovery experience.
Thank you so much for your time!
Wishing you a happy and inspiring reading journey ✨📖

Hi everyone!🙌🏻I’m a UX/UI design student currently working on a mini project to improve the user experience of book-related apps (e.g., Goodreads, StoryGraph, Fable, etc.), especially focusing on book recommendations, search convenience, and review reliability.
We’d love to hear from real readers about how you search for books, how accurate recommendations feel, and whether reviews influence your choices.
📌 You can participate even if you rarely use these apps!
As long as you read books and sometimes search for book information, your opinion is valuable.
🕒 Survey duration: 4–6 minutes
🔒 No personal data required: Email is optional and only if you’re interested in a follow-up interview.

Thank you so much for taking the time!
Books I keep close: philosophy, poetry, psychology, history, etc. I like black coffee. Marked lines. Clean order. If substance turns your head, connect with me!
Feel free to add me! I’ve written three books and would love to have more reviews. My first book is a collection of my prayer notes, turned into a heartfelt journey. My second book shares the story behind how I started writing, and my third is a fiction novel that came to life thanks to my husband’s little push. If you’ve read any of my books, your reviews would mean the world and help others discover them. Thank you for your support!
Hi everyone! 👋✨ I’d love to make new reading friends too. I’m always looking for people who enjoy sharing thoughts about what they’re reading, swapping recommendations, or doing the occasional buddy read — especially anything in historical fiction, romance, or stories with big emotional journeys.I’m also an author who adores connecting with other readers, but I’m mostly here just to enjoy books and meet kind, book-loving people. 💛📚
Feel free to add me — I’d love to follow your reviews and chat about what you’re reading!
༘˚⋆Mimika⋆.✧˚ wrote: "Depends on which book lol, would totally be up for it!"Most people think writing a book means starting with perfect chapters. The truth is, it often begins with messy notes, half‑finished drafts, or even scattered thoughts. If you’ve got ideas, I can help turn them into a structured, polished book that still sounds like you. Send me one page — spelling and grammar don’t matter — and I’ll show you how it can be transformed into something that makes sense and flows naturally. That’s the first step toward holding your own book in your hands
hi! feel free to add me, i'm interactive and always looking for more friends ❤️ i love to read people's reviews & thoughts!! ༄˖°.🪐.ೃ࿔*:・i'm a thriller/mystery girly at heart ♡ but i also read fantasy & romance!!
I am looking for friends in Goodreads to interact feel free to add me I read romance and darkromance also thrillers
Add me! I'm always looking to buddy read with somebody because it will get me reading more than I already do!(I'm currently buddy reading Powerless with somebody)
The last YA book that I felt strongest about was definitely Part of Your World as I had to know what would have happened if Ariel never escaped Ursula!I’m Sahil, just joined the group and looking to make some bookish friends! I write YA too – my book Vincent is about a kid who leaves home after a big fight with his parents, and all the messy, heartfelt lessons they learn.
Anyone else here love coming-of-age stories that make you think about your own family relationships? Would love to chat more about your faves – maybe even do a buddy read sometime!
