Noah Stevenson and Annabelle Shepherd were high school sweet hearts until a rare type of cancer stole Noah away from Anna. She struggles to move on. Even after a few years have passed, she finds it hard to let go of her past. She is scared that if she falls in love again then she will loose Noah's memories forever. There were a few throughout the years who sincerely wanted to get to know her but she unknowingly pushed them away by shutting herself in her own memories. Then she meets Christian, an ER resident and things start to change. Christian keeps breaking away each and every wall that Anna keeps putting up. She slowly but steadily starts to fall in love again and that makes her hate Christian. She thinks that he is stealing Noah and his memories from her. Will Christian be able to fight with the memories of a dead teenager and win the affection of Anna?

Sandra wrote: "We are a team of readers that actively post book reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads, and we are always looking for books to review. What genre of books are reviewed? (The link in message 1 of this thread is broken.)

The dawn of a long nightRome, 2036.
In an Italy that appears to be pacified, death has become a scheduled event.
State-authorized arenas offer public shows where people kill each other by contract, while behind the scenes moves a modern Empire that hides a dark and relentless power.
A man wakes up with no memory in a clinic. He does not yet know that his story intertwines with that of a missing brother and with a secret design that dominates every choice. In a race against time, among plots, buried memories, and an invisible network of control, Valerio searches for the truth about himself and the world around him.
"There are voices that are not heard, but that decide everything."
A dystopian thriller set in the heart of a dark future Rome, where ancient gladiatorial traditions merge with totalitarian technology, where memory can be erased but never destroyed, and where the line between civilization and barbarism has never been thinner.

ANSGAR AND THE TROLLS by Patricia Stinson I just had to pop into this thread and share a delightful little treasure I stumbled across recently that I think would be an absolute hit on your blogs especially for those of you who cover picture books, indie authors, or diverse folklore-inspired stories.I'm talking about ANSGAR AND THE TROLLS: Gnomes are happy mischievous folk, but Trolls are different, written by Patricia Stinson and beautifully illustrated by Aklima Monnaf. The story sets up a brilliant clash of personalities: you have these bouncy, cheerful gnomes on one side, and these heavy, brooding trolls on the other. What unfolds is not just a simple adventure, but a surprisingly tender lesson about empathy, acceptance, and not judging a book (or a troll!) by its cover. There is such a wonderful, worldly, and wise storytelling voice that comes through in the prose. You can tell she knows exactly how to hold a child's attention during read-aloud time.
If I were to offer just one tiny, honest observation (because we all appreciate genuine reviews here!), I did find myself wishing we could have dived just a smidge deeper into the specific folklore of the Trolls' world, it felt so rich that I wanted a few more paragraphs! But honestly, that slight mystery makes it a fantastic conversation starter to have with curious little ones after you close the book.
Since this thread is all about Looking for Books to Review, I highly recommend grabbing a copy if you are searching for something fresh, visually stunning, and packed with heart. It's a quick, joyful read that would make for a fantastic blog post, especially if you pair it with a discussion about empathy or folklore in modern children's literature.
