Thanks for sharing, Huguette. I haven't read Ben Okri yet but like how you describe his work.
My approach is quite different, more like classical fairy tale structure (think Brothers Grimm or One Thousand and One Nights) but set in medieval Africa. It's also more archetypal than literary. Merci pour ton passage !

Ben Okri is the author and I remember him saying wise words...loved it.
