I'd say A Christmas Carol is definitely one, and The Awakening.
Some of my favourite books and authors make us look at ourselves and our intentions. Could we or should we do that?
What are your favourite books that hold a mirror to mankind?
Books that make us question humanity's intentions, huh? Here are a few thought provoking ones:
1. 1984- a classic dystopian warning about government control
2. The Handmaid's Tale- a haunting exploration of oppression
3. Fahrenheit 451- a cautionary tale about censorship and ignorance
These books will definitely make you think.
