I'd always admired Slovo. What does it mean to "Eichman" him?
:-) Turton was part of a plan (Security services) to kidnap Joe Slovo and take him to South Africa to stand trial - as Mossad did to Eichman, kidnapping him in Argentina to face trial for Holocaust activity in Israel. Hostilities ended, and Turton met, liked and respected Joe Slovo. ;-)
Ah I see now t- hanks Barry. So interesting to read what dirty deeds SA security services were up to back then. Very similar to Mossad in some ways, I am guessing that there was a certain amount of collaboration between the two.
