I enjoyed this, but it definitely needed more proofreading and editing. I understand it's her first book so I'll continue with the series hoping for some improvement. The story, world, and magic are intriguing enough to keep me interested.

I felt the same. I had a difficult time with the second book, I was pretty bored. If you end up finishing the trilogy, let me know if the last one is worth reading!
