I've read a lot of her books, but not this one or a fantasy. I enjoyed her writing.
Since I haven't read anything by her, is there another book you would recommend to start with?
I enjoyed the Elios of Damerosehay trilogy. The books are Bird in the Tree, Herb of Grace (also called Pilgrim's Inn), and Heart of the Family. There's no fantasy involved. They are just enjoyable, maybe comparable to Delderfield, but not as long.
