Manuel Alfonseca In the voting to select our February 2026 book of the month, we had a tie between two books, both with five votes: A Song for Nagasaki: The Story of Takashi Nagai a Scientist, Convert, and Survivor of the Atomic Bomb by Paul Glynn and Defending Human Dignity: Catholic Answers to Gender, Abortion, and Relativism by Marie Brousseau.

The moderator used a randomizer to select the order of our reading both books. "Defending Human Dignity" will be our book for February, and "A song for Nagasaki" will be the book for March.

The rest of the voting was as follows:

With 4 votes:
The anti-Mary
Conversation with Christ
The cypresses believe in God
This Thing of Darkness
With 3 votes:
Champions of the Rosary
With 2 votes:
Pilgrims
With two eyes into Gehenna
With 1 vote
Consecration to St. Joseph
Invasion'14
The Queen's tragedy
Works of mercy
With 0 votes (these books are removed from both lists):
The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful
The hundredfold
Paradoxes of Catholicism

The four books with 1 vote leave the Voting List, but are moved to the end of the Nominations List.

The eight books at the top of the Nominations List will be added to the Voting List for the April 2025 voting, which will take place on February 15.
