Michael Shank Hey, I already asked a question about my review, but recently today, I got a notification saying that my book would drop to the bottom of the review pool, but the problem is, I can't review any more books until my other review shows up. Could you please fix that? I'm hoping that the new review I left will actually show up on Amazon and I can get the credit I deserve so I can review other books. Thank you!

Hi Michael,
the message you saw is just a warning — your book won’t drop to the bottom as long as you have assigned reviews. Even if you don’t have any assigned reviews, it may take a while before the algorithm kicks in, so no worries.

Michael Shank Thank you. I have some problems, though, regarding the review still. Since I'm having to use a different account to write a review, I don't think Amazon is accepting it because the review I wrote wasn't a verified purchase. I read it through Kindle Unlimited; however, that review never showed up either. I've tried everything and I haven't been able to get my book reviewed at all because this one book won't accept my reviews. Are there any alternative ideas for how I can review this item?

I have had repeated issues with Amazon since August where my reviews get ‘lost’ in their system. They show as submitted in my Kindle app, when I visit Amazon and click write a review on the book’s product page my review text is already there but won’t post. Provide them the book’s ASIN and the date you submitted the review. It’ll probably take several days, up to a week after sending the email, but they’ll usually release it. Give them 24hrs to respond to your email, but if you don’t hear back from them, resend the email.

This happens every time I review a book from my kindle app. If I go directly to the Amazon page they seem to post fine. But this means they will NEVER show as verified purchases, only as Kindle Unlimited reviews. Hope this helps.

Jane Reid For the past few months, I have found that the star ratings given on my kindle app haven't shown up on the Amazon page - but the reviews go through ok when posted on the actual AZN page instead of through the app (but unverified).

It might have something to do with AZN trying to prevent people from claiming verified reads through using the app ... who knows, but it is very annoying.

Shalini Sharma Three people recently read my book and it was mentioned that the review must be verified, but when I looked up on Amazon's review section, they weren't verified ones. Now, I'm so fed up with people either leaving a review without reading the book or just reading the book by pirating site, idk. I just want to remove my books from revvue and expect to get genuine reviews by letting the books be on Amazon exclusively.

Michael Shank I had to leave an unverified review because my Amazon account hasn't met the standards for a review yet. it's possible some people could be experiencing the same trouble and had to go through a different account to leave a review at all.
