That’s a mouth-watering closing para as I have read in years, Georgia. Not that I read many cookery books… I would love to read your story though.

Coming from Spain, a country with such wonderful food, that is praise indeed Dolors. There's much more food in my recent book
American Girl: Memories That Made Me.
I’ve always wanted to try authentic Italian food. I think it’s the north and south that are very different? It sounds like a beautiful country.
I used to read cookbooks all the time.

What I've had in Italy was always good. Even a simple green salad in someone's home was done with care. And time. Nothing rushed. Have a look at the cooking grandmothers on the internet, Kristy. They are a delight
David wrote: "We love beer-can chicken. This book sounds delightful! Merry Christmas Georgia."
Seriously? I may have to rethink this one. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, David.
Julio wrote: "What a loving tribute to cuisine, Georgia: I agree, rocquefurt lettuce is our friend."
Food is life and can be act of love. Hands, that what I see when I think of the holidays and remember the cooks in my family. Some hands were small, others large, all worked magic in those bowls. Wishing you good tables, Julio, in the new year ahead.
