I’m writing regarding two titles currently listed under my Goodreads author profile (Vicki Childs). These works are early romance novelettes that are no longer published or commercially available and do not represent my current author brand.
The issue is that these legacy titles include the words 'Davis Crest' in the title, which is now the name of my upcoming historical women’s fiction trilogy. This has begun to cause confusion for readers, who are assuming these older romance titles are connected to the new series, when they are not.
I’d like to request that these legacy titles either:
• be removed from my author profile if eligible (as unpublished / unavailable works), or
• be reassigned to a separate author profile (e.g. a variant of my author name) so they are no longer associated with my current bibliography.
My goal is simply to ensure clarity for readers and accuracy in how my published work is represented on Goodreads.
Thank you very much for your help — I appreciate the work you do to keep the catalog accurate and reader-friendly.
