2: Post the cover, and a brief blurb. Keep it short and sweet (under 100 words). If you can't draw the reader in at this stage you may have already found your first issue as a writer. If it's already published, post the Amazon link.
3: You can specify what you want in return, but there's no guarantee you'll get it.
4: You may not use this as a place to advertise your stories. There are other groups for that.
5: I'll email weekly updates (that members can then choose to read or ignore) summarizing what's available in this list once it begins to grow.
Sidenote: for those not familiar with the 'creative writing' side of goodreads, you can upload samples of your work. It's not all that easy to find so if you missed this amazing opportunity, all you do is click the drop down arrow next to 'explore' at the top of the page. Click on 'creative writing' then the 'my writing' hyperlink.
Now you can post samples of your work for potential readers. Not only that, this opens the door for many readers like myself who have commitment issues. I personally prefer to read a sample, then request the rest of the story if I feel it's suited to me. That way there are no hurt feelings.
