I might need to add this series to my WTR list.
The log line doesn't sound like it would be entertaining (old people in a retirement home solving crimes) but the dialogue and narrative asides in each book are just hilarious, making the series so much fun to read. Each character is different and has depth. And the plots, for all the narrative merriment, involve serious and gripping family issues.
This is my contemporary favorite ‘murder mystery’ series. I love the books and would dearly love retiring to Cooper’s Chase.
