Discontinued serialized fragments > Likes and Comments

My book The Feral Sentence (B07Q9BHZ8Z) currently has multiple discontinued serialized editions showing under “All Other Editions.” These editions were published years ago under a different pen name as experimental fragments and are not editions of the current novel.

Please remove the following editions from this work record and assign them to a new work record as discontinued serialized fragments:

These editions should no longer be grouped with the current complete edition under Shade Owens.

Problem:
Multiple outdated editions from previously unpublished books are still attached to this title, creating fragmented edition listings. Some editions show old pen names and incorrect ASIN / ISBN mappings.

Please remove or merge the outdated / fragmented editions so only the current correct editions remain visible.

Additional Request – Remove Obsolete Author Name

The book page and several attached editions still display an old / deprecated pen name that is no longer in use. This author name should be removed from all editions associated with this title.

Request: Please update the author metadata so only the current author name remains linked to this book and its editions.

Critical – ASIN Mapping Correction

The ASIN is currently attached to the obsolete edition with the old cover, while the current edition is assigned an incorrect ASIN.

Correct ASIN (should be primary): B07Q9BHZ8Z
Incorrect / Obsolete ASIN: B0GCVW2L5K

Re number 4: Amazon assigns a "junk" ASIN to any editions with no ISBN/ASIN populated. Adding a new edition without those will prompt the junk/fake ASIN import. I have merged the empty edition that was added.

Do not change author names on the books. That will move the books to the wrong profile. and duplicate author names on some of them, especially when some of them have to retain the older name.

We cannot move ASINs or ISBNs. Instead, there is a new policy wherein we can change the cover on Kindle editions. I have changed the cover on the active ASIN for the book.

Only the author can set the primary edition.

Provided they are each much shorter than the completed version, we can separate the "fragments" but that is not possible right now due to site maintenance. It should be possible after Jan 12. You can bump this thread at that time.

Thank you very much for your response and for clarifying this for me. I will need to go through the editions to identify the fragments, as it is quite a mess.

In the meantime, may I please request the following fix:

Two editions of this title are currently displaying an obsolete pen name that contains part of my legal name, and the book-level metadata is listing both names as authors.

This is an author identity correction request and a privacy issue.

Please remove the obsolete pen name from all editions and from the book-level author attribution, and disassociate it from my author profile so that only my current pen name is shown.

We retain the original author name as primary on all physical formats.
