My dearest, darlingest book club members,

for the past 8 years I've moderated this book club and loved every second!

Ryan joined us shortly after and absolutely adored teasing everyone as often as he was able.

Life be lifin', as the kids say, and both he and I will be stepping down as full mods in 2026.

I'll still be helping to moderate our Discord group, and leading VBC as often as I'm able. Other than that, he and I are hitting the dusty trail.

It's been an absolute honor and joy to get to know you and read with you over our tenure, and we're absolutely thrilled with everything the new mods have "cooking" for you in this new year.

All the best to each and every one of you. Keep reading, keep broadening your horizons, and stay kind. We'll always cherish the community we've been a part of!

I joined once the discussion about Ursula Le Guin. Alisson was not present, but everybody spoke so warmly about how much better the discussion would be if she moderated it. So I took the opportunity to join once, since I re-read Ubik. Everybody was right. The way you look at books is for me so unexpected. I enjoyed every point of view. I wish you happy goodreading without moding, and I just joined the discord group, to still have part of Allison's wisdom. :)
