Wonderful review Jim.
I used to work with a man who would walk into the office announcing ‘I grow old, I grow old; I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled’, designed to make me laugh. He was 35.
Thanks for your comments, Lyn. Eliot is certainly an acquired taste, like absinthe or Chinese Opera, i.e. memorable without necessarily being fun.
