Cut and RunI'm looking for book reviewers for my newest suspense novel, Cut & Run. It will be released by Thomas & Mercer on April 2. I have limited copies of paperback ARC (about 10 left), and around 100 copies that will be available as an e-book (for Kindles).
This book is part of a popular series - The Rachel Scott Adventures - but you do not have to read the books in order. Each has it's own "mystery", with some back story on main character.
Synopsis:
When Matt O’Malley turns up at a truck stop with a nasty concussion and no recollection of what happened to him or his family, investigator Rachel Scott knows she and the Florida Omni Search team have to act fast. Whoever attacked him still has his wife and children, and a gruesome piece of evidence points to deadly possibilities.
While Matt sweats under the scrutiny of the FBI, his shattered memory slowly pieces together disturbing details. Afraid to trust even his brother with this new information, he turns to Rachel, who scours southern Louisiana for clues. Along with retired police detective Red Cooper, Rachel searches everywhere from a voodoo parlor to an eerie Houma swamp, unearthing troubling secrets about the O’Malleys…and a shocking truth behind the disappearance of Rachel’s own daughter.
Thanks!

I am releasing my latest Lupa Schwartz mystery novel on July 18. Between now and July 11 you can download a free eBook file in exchange for a promise of an honest review. You can find the book at http://jdcore.tomely.com/redeem/ Enter code ARC. Here's a description.
After surviving a vicious attack, magazine reporter Cattleya Hoskin learns that her ex-boyfriend, Ulric, has gone missing having left only a coded message the police cannot decipher. Digging deeper, she learns that he'd been working with the man who got her injured on the last story she covered, Pittsburgh PI Lupa Schwartz. The two men had been trying to covertly unravel a centuries-old scheme, but the conspirators found him out and drove Ulric underground. To complicate matters, a mystery woman arrives with a tale of peril linking her to the same nefarious plot.
In order to protect this client and Ulric, Cattleya and Schwartz delve into the mysteries of sacred geometry and a genetic line that traces back to Charlemagne and beyond. Now the pair must work together to expose an ancient secret before being thwarted by the agents of a shadow government which has been secretly operating since Mesopotamia.
If they succeed, they just might topple an empire. If they fail, there may be no place for them in the New World Order -- or anywhere else.
Remember, you're promising to write an HONEST review.

Stabbing in the Senate
A Washington Whodunit
Colleen J. Shogan
Publisher: Camel Press
Release Date: November 15, 2015
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Formats Available For Review: print (limited quantities, only available to qualified reviewers/bloggers in the U.S.); pdf, epub, mobi
Life is good for Kit Marshall. She's a staffer in D.C. for a popular senator, and she lives with an adoring beagle and a brainy boyfriend with a trust fund. Then, one morning, Kit arrives at the office early and finds her boss, Senator Langsford, impaled by a stainless steel replica of an Army attack helicopter. Panicked, she pulls the weapon out of his chest and instantly becomes the prime suspect in his murder.
Circumstances back Kit's claim of innocence, but her photograph has gone viral, and the heat won't be off until the killer is found. Well-loved though the senator was, suspects abound. Langsford had begun to vote with his conscience, which meant he was often at odds with his party. Not only had the senator decided to quash the ambitions of a major military contractor, but his likely successor is a congressman he trounced in the last election. Then there's the suspiciously dry-eyed Widow Langsford.
Kit's tabloid infamy horrifies her boyfriend's upper-crust family, and it could destroy her career. However, she and her free-spirited friend Meg have a more pressing reason to play sleuth. The police are clueless in more ways than one, and Kit worries that the next task on the killer's agenda will be to end her life.
Book 1 in the Washington Whodunit series.

The big break Toni Abbott longed for has finally arrived. She has been cast as the soap opera villainess everyone loves to hate, and because of her, ratings are soaring. Then her lucky streak runs out. During a late-night photo session, Craig, the photographer, is shot to death. In the confusion Toni hits her head and is knocked unconscious, and when she awakes, she can’t recall what happened. If she could regain her memory, could she identify the killer? Apparently the killer thinks so, because soon after the incident, Toni hears someone breaking in to her apartment and barely escapes. Too bad the police believe she is somehow responsible for Craig’s murder. It doesn’t help that her character on the show is so convincingly nasty and conniving. Was the target really Craig, or did the killer aim for Toni and miss? Craig was an unscrupulous womanizer. Any number of people might have wanted him dead, including a career criminal he helped convict, his business partner, his wife, and his mistress. Despite her winning personality, Toni has her share of enemies, among them an older actress jealous of her success and the show’s director, whose animosity baffles her. With the help of Michael Benedict, a handsome young criminal lawyer, Toni sets out to awaken her dormant memory and unmask the killer. Meanwhile the character she plays, Alexandra, is in a coma, fighting for her life. The writers will decide Alexandra’s fate, but Toni must save herself.

Here is the blurb:
What if, in the near future, we could choose the body we wanted? We could visit a store front, much like a neighborhood mom-and-pop shop, and we’d see all the available bodies lined up in a glass-enclosed case. We’d be able to choose the body we wanted, purchase it, have an operation, and wham bam! wake up with our new body.
Dr. Farkis begins his head transplant operations in secret in Oakland, California and Tokyo, Japan. When news filters out about his revolutionary surgery, individuals from all walks of life come forward, desperate for a new body and an improved life that only Dr. Farkis can offer. We meet: Barry, so frantic for a new body, he stalks the doctor and bargains with a menacing ultimatum; Aiko, father of 19-year-old Kaneko, who demands that she undergo the operation to become more attractive to snag a husband; and finally, Baby, who finds out the hard way that demanding a new body may end up being fatal.
Choosing the perfect physique from a smorgasbord of available bodies seems like a dream . . . or is it a nightmare?
Thank you so much. I appreciate your support.

Hi - ARCs of my new crime-thriller Silent Fear (A novel inspired by true crimes) are available now until the book’s launch October 31 courtesy of Sterling Gate Books.Silent Fear is a multi-genre crime, thriller, mystery, horror (with shades of sci-fi). Set in present-day London, the story was inspired by the murders of several deaf students at Gallaudet University, one of the world’s most prestigious learning institutions for the deaf, in Washington, D.C., between 1980 and the early 2000’s.
In brief:
Detective Valerie Crowther is assigned to investigate the murder of a student at a university for the deaf in London. The murder investigation coincides with a deadly flu virus outbreak, resulting in the university being quarantined from the outside world. When more deaf students are murdered, it’s clearly the work of a serial killer. The stakes rise when Valerie becomes the killer’s next target and the deadly virus claims more lives.
Silent Fear is the eighth novel I’ve co-written with my son James Morcan. Our seven co-authored novels to date include Into the Americas, The Ninth Orphan and White Spirit.
We are also screenwriters and filmmakers and have put SILENT FEAR into early development as a feature film through our production company Morcan Motion Pictures.
Here’s the film trailer:
Goodreads video: https://www.goodreads.com/videos/1245...
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8bv1...
The paperback won't be published until closer to our October 31 launch date unfortunately so the only ARC copy available is a PDF, which we are emailing to interested parties.
If you're a keen reader, book reviewer or blogger then post request (with your email address) via Goodreads if you wish to receive a free PDF – or else email sterlinggatebooks@gmail.com
Many thanks!

Hello, ARC of Authors! I'm looking for discerning ARC readers.A Killer's Role
My series launch looms. It comes very near. All the pieces are set, except one thing — ARC READERS!
If you enjoy reading Thriller/Suspense/Mystery/Crime novels designed to read very fast, this might be for you. A quick word about the book.
Erter & Dobbs Book 1: A Killer's Role.
Two unlikely partners join forces to hunt down a psycho who likes to view L.A. through a sniper scope. But first, they will have to face their own personal demons and come to common ground in a race against time that could bring the entire city to its knees, especially once they themselves become the target.
There is adult content. If it were a movie, It would be rated R.
Because the launch is a week away (September 26th) I would ideally request the ARC review be posted before then, however, due to the short notice of this request, any ARC review will do! And I thank you very much for your interest.
Email me at nick@nickkellerbooks.com, tell me you'd like to ARC review A Killer's Role, and I can link you to your ARC copy in any format ASAP!
Thanks, everybody, and let's connect soon.
Nick Keller
Hi Nick... set me up with a copy and I'll get you an honest review. I prefer a hard copy of the book, but an e-copy will do. I use a Kindle for ebooks. Thanks. Jon Kidwell
jonmarkkidwell.@yahoo.com
Jon, thanks for responding, I do appreciate your ARC review a great deal. I sent a response and a link for claiming and downloading the MOBI file to the email you listed. It was, however, notated as an inappropriate address, and I noticed there's an extra period, so I resent. I hope I got that right. When you're done, I'll send the link to the review site on Amazon. Thanks again.

Nick,
Do you have an excerpt available?
I sent you an email requesting a copy of your book to review, I would be more than happy to do so. Unfortunately, I do not use an e-reader and don't read book files over my computer. But if you are willing to send me an ARC of your book to my residence address, please let me know. I understand you are wanting fast reviews and sending it via snail mail might not be what you are wanting. But if so, once I get your book and read it , I would give a fast and honest review! Good Luck!!Sharon
Hi CalifCat!Sure. I'll try anything... at least once, right? Send me your address and I'll get you a copy ASAP. Because our timeline is crunched, the sooner you get me that address, the sooner I can send. And thanks for the ARC read!
