Dimitry wrote: "How do I update changes I make to my book on my computer to my Goodreads copy of my book."I believe you'll need to talk with the Goodreads Librarians. Go to this group https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/220, post about what you need changed in whichever section most closely fits the changes you need made, and someone there should be able to help you, or direct you to the proper place for help.

Can I get the definition of indie/self published for this group? In other words, what are the prohibited methods of publication that would disallow a book from being read here (e.g. penguin, random house, etc.)?

"An indie author is a writer of fiction, nonfiction, or poetry books who self-publishes their own work and retains and controls their own publishing rights."
Independently-published books are published by the author who wrote them; they aren't published through major publishing house conglomerates. The group is for those indie/SP books.
May I put this book on your shelf?
I know the author. It's a long story.... Several years after I had reviewed his book, I met him. We are now friends. At this time and for the foreseeable future the author is offline and busy transporting household goods within the Black Sea Basin.
My review is at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
There are other reviews, far more insightful than mine.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for contacting our group, but our bookshelf is only for active members of the group. Getting one's book on the bookshelf is one of the perks of being an active member.
However, that being said, if the book is an indie/self-published book, you are more than welcome to talk about it in The Read Section of the group, which is where readers can discuss indie/SP books that you’ve enjoyed, or anything else regarding reading.
Hello! I'm publishing an ebook and a paperback for toddlers, and since I'm not at all familiar with groups and the correct way to use them, I'd like to know the appropriate place to post my request for reviews.
Thank you 1000 times

Hello!
This group doesn't have a place to post requests for reviews. The group offers three options for indie/SP authors to get some reviews for their books and all involve giving a review as well as getting one. See the Quick Guide to RWR Club & Getting Reviews Here for an overview of how the group works.
Joseph wrote: "Is it possible to add my nooks to your shelf?..."As stated in the rules, having one's books listed on the group's Bookshelf is a perk of being an active member of this group. For details please see: What's an Active Member & What are the Benefits of Being One? as well as the other rules topics.

For questions about the specific folders, please post in that folder's Questions/FAQ topic (where available).
Thank you!
