Ruth Has anyone noticed a drop in gas prices? Curious what other parts of the US are seeing right now. In Texas, it’s currently $1.99.

It sure isn't that low in NH!

message 3: by Ruth (new)

Ruth It was $2.17 last Thursday then on Friday it dropped to $2.15…then today $1.99. It was $3.20 the first part of last week. I am wondering why. And if it’s headed to other states.

I sure hope it comes this way. I am seeing anywhere from $2.59 to $3.74 in our town

message 5: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I have a friend that paid $1.79 per gallon. She’s in West Texas.

message 6: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts Ruth gas is cheaper in Texas because that’s where the oil is! Duh lol

message 7: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Maybe, but that is the cheapest it’s been in YEARS.

message 8: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts Yes I agree there is something going on with the oil prices. I own some mineral rights in Oklahoma. From time to time I have leased these to different oil companies. Two weeks ago I got a letter from a Landman who wants to buy them. That’s the first time an oil company has wanted to purchase instead of lease. I’m not ready to sell yet.

message 9: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I have mineral rights in Oklahoma. I wish he would buy mine. Hahaha.

message 10: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Well the Epstein files are slowly coming out. The dems wanted them out to prove something. Now that it doesn’t appear to prove what they wanted and they sit with egg on their faces, they claim they are fake. Smh.

message 11: by Randall (new)

Randall Moore We just dropped below $3 per gallon in Idaho, last seen at $2.85 at a mainstream gas station. I get it for less at Walmart and Costco. One reason we’re not the cheapest is all our gas is refined in Utah.

message 12: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Well it’s still $2.15 here in Texas. I’m really surprised there is such a difference.

message 13: by Kellie (new)

Kellie Ruth wrote: "Has anyone noticed a drop in gas prices? Curious what other parts of the US are seeing right now. In Texas, it’s currently $1.99."

Yes I have Ruth! Here in NJ the lowest is like $2.49. Which is definitely better than it was.

message 14: by Ruth (new)

Ruth It dropped to 2.07 yesterday here. It looks like it’s lowering here then spreading upwards.

message 15: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts Well Maduro of Venezuela is gone and Columbia, Iran, Russia and the Mexican Cartels are put on notice.

message 16: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Have you seen the celebrations in Venezuela? They are ecstatic. Joyful to be rid of a dictator.

message 17: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer It’s only the Democrats in our country that are whining and complaining!

message 18: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Because they are backed into a corner and can’t save face. Whaat else could they say. lol. If the people in Ven are this happy and they live there, it can’t be a bad thing.

message 19: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts Jennifer you can be assured that if the Democrats disagree or complain about anything. Then the opposite decision was correct.

message 20: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer I completely agree, Robert! They have completely lost the plot. And they hate our country.

message 21: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts If you see protests in NYC and elsewhere that disagree with the removal of Maduro and demanding his release, then you are looking at the face of communism. Example the new mayor Mandami, AOC, Bernie Sanders and others.

message 22: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I saw a place called “Little Venezuela “ in Florida and they were celebrating in the streets. Women were crying because they were so happy.

message 23: by Ruth (new)

Ruth So, I mistakenly turned on Good Morning America just for the background noise. They were covering the Venezuelan mess. They had a “reporter” on the ground in Venezuela and the guy stood in front of what he referred to as a road block between Venezuela and Columbia. The reporter said all people previously trying to leave Venezuela to enter Columbia has ceased. He said “dozens to hundreds” of Venezuelan people rushed through that road daily. The anchors in Mew York got all excited and with a gleam in their eye asked why were these people trying to cross the border into Columbia? The ground reporter looked funny and said they were crossing to go shopping. (Lololol) They tried to spin it as people were refugees seeking something…they were going shopping. lol. They are trying so hard to spin this into something terrible. The man is a drug lord for crying out loud.

message 24: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts The five senators who voted along with the democrats to limit war powers of Trump need to be voted out of office.

message 25: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I agree. And this ICE thing is unreal. We need to protect our police. This woman, from another state, being portrayed as a young mother…shouldn’t try to run over police. She was clearly there to interfere. When I see officers doing their job, I go the opposite direction as to give them space to do their job.

Joan Ruth wrote: "I agree. And this ICE thing is unreal. We need to protect our police. This woman, from another state, being portrayed as a young mother…shouldn’t try to run over police. She was clearly there to in..."

She was not trying to run over anyone. She was just scared and trying to get around them and get home. She was there to drop off the kids for school -- she was not even there to protest. Check that video carefully and think how you might react if approached and threatened by masked men with guns pointed at you.

message 27: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I know how I would react. By not being in the middle of it. I saw the video.

message 28: by Ruth (new)

Ruth It’s called domestic terrorism. Our officers deserve to feel safe protecting us.

message 29: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Bhear yes, our officers should feel safe but the ones who abuse that power don't deserve the honor to wear that badge.

message 30: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I a gf tee that abuse of power is terrible.

message 31: by Ruth (new)

Ruth And sure don’t want to see anyone lose their life. Just have to not instigate trouble.

message 32: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts All protesters and activists should get what they deserve.

message 33: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I don’t understand a woman with kids putting herself in the middle of people can say what they want, but she was a protester and she tried to hit the policeman. Clear as day. If you have small children, you shouldn’t be an extremist putting your life on the line. You can tell where the bullet hole was in the carat the tried to warn her. Her children grow up without her now.

message 34: by Joan (new)

Joan Ruth wrote: "I don’t understand a woman with kids putting herself in the middle of people can say what they want, but she was a protester and she tried to hit the policeman. Clear as day. If you have small chil..."

She was NOT a protester. Haven't you checked out the facts? She had just dropped her kids off at school and was trapped in the blocked traffic (not knowing why those cars were there). When panicked when they grabbed her car door and came at her with drawn weapons...but you would too. Then she just tried to get out of there. The officer who shot her moved in front of her car...she didn't aim at HIM. then she swerved around him and tried to get home when she was shot at close range in the read. There is NO excuse for that. It was outright murder.

message 35: by Ruth (new)

Ruth That is simply not the facts. Believe what you will. As will I.

message 36: by Ruth (new)

Ruth I’ll say this and no more. lol. That’s big for me. If she simply was a young mother dropping her littles off at school, why didn’t she follow commands given? She was told MULTIPLE times to stop. She decided to not comply. She would have simply been given directions out of the situation.

message 37: by Ruth (new)

Ruth CNN backs up my story. I have researched and concluded. I very seldom (never) side either CNN. lol. They showed her wife getting out of the car and videoing the whole thing. Her car was sideways in the street. She was a protester. I will say, as a mother, if I were simply dropping my kids off at school and saw the protest and ICE doing their job, I would have simply taken my kids home. There is no way I would drop my kids off in that mess. She was at fault on many levels.

message 38: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Watched another angle and she was protesting. She yelled things at the officers….she was NOT intimidated in the least. Her “wife” jumped out taunting the officers. She was definitely not just “dropping her children off for school.” Her “wife” needs to be in jail.

message 39: by Kellie (new)

Kellie Robert wrote: "Jennifer you can be assured that if the Democrats disagree or complain about anything. Then the opposite decision was correct."

Agree completely Robert!!

Kellie Ruth wrote: "CNN backs up my story. I have researched and concluded. I very seldom (never) side either CNN. lol. They showed her wife getting out of the car and videoing the whole thing. Her car was sideways in..."

I agree Ruth! I would not have sent my kids in that mess, if I was just simply dropping off my kids. I saw the video and she was definitely protesting.

message 41: by Kellie (new)

Kellie Our officers need to do their job. I have several family members that are law enforcement and have been law enforcement. They need to do their job to make everyone safe.

message 42: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Absolutely. It’s truly one of the most important jobs we have.

message 43: by Robert (new)

Robert Roberts If you have seen the latest Video of the shooting in Minnesota, the woman and her muff diving wife were clearly harassing and protesting ice officers. They were not there dropping off school children, but obstructing officers.

message 44: by Ruth (new)

Ruth 1000000% right.

message 45: by E (new)

E I watched new footage frame by frame this AM.

The two were ICE watch activists. They had been shadowing ICE all morning.

The drivers partner got out of the SUV to film the ICE agents approaching their car.

The woman filming got mouthy with an agent approaching the driver of the car.

He told her get the F___ out of the car. She yelled NO. Her partner tried to get back in on the front passenger side.
The door was locked and she got in the back left passenger side and yelled "Go Baby Go!

The driver gunned it and the wheels were spinning on the ice.

The car ran into the agent in front of the car who had turned on a smart phone video.

He got hit in the leg pulled the trigger on his pulled weapon and fired.

He had been injured and dragged by a car by a protestor two weeks earlier. The kill shot went through the front windshield and hit her in the head.
She died for nothing.

message 46: by E (new)

E These people are paid activists.
These two women were playing games with Federal Agents.

An SUV is a two ton weapon that can crush every bone in a human. I dont care a fig about either of them

message 47: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Well said E! And I was just thinking about people saying she was simply dropping her kids off at school…it was 10 AM. School started hours before that.
